Massage therapy

Massage therapy is one of the oldest forms of relaxation in the world. It dates back all the way to 3000 B.C. and has beginnings in both Asian and European cultures. Holistic therapies have various different styles and techniques. Some of the most famous treatments include Swedish, Thai, Sports, Deep-Tissue massage. Massages essentially use various strokes and glides in order to release tension in muscles and limbs. It can be done with or without oils and is usually performed on a massage table or a bed. Room temperature for a comfortable body treatments should not exceed 22 degrees and is done on soft clean massage towels. The length of the treatment depends on how deep the therapy should go- if the aim of the massage is to relax usually 30 minutes is enough, if the problems are more serious at least 1 hour treatment is necessary.
